Improving the Challenger 300 aircraft resulted in a more modern Challenger 350 aircraft. The main areas of modernization, in addition to increasing take-off weight, are engine replacement, modernization of the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics, and updating the interior of the passenger compartment. The Honeywell HTF7350 engine, an improved version of the HTF7000 (installed on the Challenger 300), provides 7% more thrust (plus 230 kg of thrust multiplied by two) with higher fuel efficiency. One of the most obvious modifications that distinguish the Challenger 350 from its predecessor is its winglets. Located at a greater angle to the wing plane than the Challenger 300, they more effectively cope with drag and, in addition, lengthen the wing by 158 cm. Because of them, the aircraft gains height faster despite increased weight. The rest of the design and mechanization of the wing are preserved in their previous form. The same applies to the fuselage, with the exception of the windows, which are 5 cm longer and now transmit 12% more light. It would seem that not so much - but noticeably with the naked eye! In the rear of the fuselage is a toilet room. In addition to the sink and ordinary cabinets, mirrors, etc. there is also an entrance to the luggage compartment with a volume of 3 m3. This compartment can also be accessed from outside the aircraft through a hatch located under the pylon of the left engine.
